Joe and Karen:
I've been meaing to write you. Several young men I know have passed away. I didn't know Jarrod. I hear he was a good man. Joe, we had Health together and had many good laughs together. Most of all I want to tell you that I miss Nancy. Jarrod and Nancy are up there singing, pulling pranks and telling jokes. Nancy and I were in VOE:Office Eduacation together. We traveled to Austin together to do our VOE skit for Mrs. Johnson. I know Mrs. Johnson and Nancy are having a discussion in heaven now about how proper to act, etc. We went to Austin to the state VOE convention and Mrs. Johnson had a talk with Nancy and I about that. Patty Nazel McConnell works with me and we were talking about Eddie. I said I didn't know him only his older brother and sister. God be with you both at the first Christmas without Jarrod. His spirit and memory will live with you forever. Thanks for letting me share this about Nancy in Jarrod's spot. God Bless you Karen and Joe. Words can never take away the pain that you and your family is going through. It will take months hopefully and prayerfully the most not years for this to pass enough that you will laugh again in the natural way you all use to laugh. I know, been there as a father of a son of 23 yrs that died a brutal death. I did not know your son or your family. But, as a father several years later after the loss of my son. I feel as if and believe I know you all already because I do know what that pain is. It does not go away. Only becomes less hard. For this I give you; All the prayers that a prayer warrior can. So is my title the intercessor my email address. Please feel free to leave prayer requests or just talk.

Karen and family I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how hard it would be to loose a child. I remember when I was at Dillard's and I would see him come in to see Karen, how he was always smiling. My prayers will be with all of you. God bless.

I just want you to know that I will always have a special place in my heart for Jarrod. He always made me smile and laugh. Remember the time when I drove you all to the airport, and he started laughing so hard at that jacked up truck that was in front of us, and we all started laughing and couldn't stop! He just loved life....and he loved to make people laugh. When I think of Jarrod, I think of his smile. He left a mark on everyone's lives he touched and I am so priviledged to have been his friend.
