Jan Watters went to her heavenly home on June 21, 2023, peacefully in her sleep.
Jan was born on May 9, 1944, to Howard and Geneva Brown in Monahans, Texas. She graduated from Gadsden High School in Anthony, New Mexico in 1962 and attended Texas Women’s University. She was very proud to be a registered Cherokee Tribal Member.

Jan enjoyed drag racing, making jewelry and crafts, and weekly playing cards. She enjoyed traveling with friends and her daughter, her favorite trip was going to England and Ireland.
