Janis Porter Tullos' Obituary
Janis Porter Tullos, aged 79, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026. She was born on December 13, 1946, in Gilmer, Texas to Gladys and Clyde Porter. Janis was survived by her husband, Ted Tullos and her three children, Jana Brown of Whitehouse, Amy Lawrence and Wesley of Tyler, and Kenneth Shelton and Lindsey of Tyler, three step sons, Cliff, Eric and Matthew Tullos, thirteen grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, one sister and one brother, as well as extended family and friends.
Janis was a wonderful mother who loved her family unconditionally. Her heart was devoted to her husband and her children. She was a strong and kind woman who taught us to work hard and sacrifice for our families. Our family will be forever changed with the loss of Janis; however, her spirit will live on in all of us.
An intimidate, family gathering will happen on Saturday, February 7th, 2026 at her home, as she requested to fellowship and commemorate her life and the love we shared with each other.
