Janis Langham Commins
August 26, 2005, is the day the Lord called one of his faithful children home. Janis Langham Commins was born to Earl Ray Langham, Sr. and Frances Louise Ford Langham on January 26, 1948. She married Paul William Commins on January 14, 1966. She had two daughters and sons-in-law, Teri and Brian Francis and Paula and Brian Hodge all of Gilmer; five grandchildren that she loved dearly, Justin, Jacob, and Jordan Francis and Rian and Morgan Hodge; one sister and her husband, Brenda and Jerry Cross of Spring, TX.; one brother and his wife, Randy and Barbara Langham of Dallas, TX. She had many beloved inlaws and nieces and nephews. She worked at Good Shepherd Medical Center for 14 years and at Longview Regional Medical Center for 10 years. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Gladewater, and she loved her church family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Ray Langham, Sr. and her brother Earl Ray Langham, Jr. She served God until the very end and will be remembered by the many lives she touched with her life.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Monday, August 29, 2005 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Reverends C. B. Warren and Mike McGuire officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
