Janice Nell White's Obituary
Janice White entered into the presence of the Lord Jesus
on Monday, June 5, 2017. Services to honor her 85 years
of life will be held at Oakland Heights Baptist Church on
Friday, June 9, 2017 at 11am. Visitation with the family will
be from 10am until 11am prior to the service.
She was born in Como, TX on October 31, 1931 to
Aaron and Earlene Swindell. She was a resident of Longview
since 1941, graduate of Longview High School 1949, and
long-time member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother,
and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband
of 67 years, Wilbur Gene White, sister Dell Newsom and
husband Bo of White Oak, TX, daughter Rhonda McFarland
and husband Kirk of Longview, TX., and son Michael White
and wife Jane of Houston, TX.
She was very special to her grandchildren, Brandon
and Laura McFarland of Longview, Chris White and
wife Erin of Wilson, North Carolina, and Kevin White
and wife Kristen of Texas City, TX. She leaves a loving
memory to three great-grandchildren, Hudson and Blake
White of Wilson, NC. and Caiden White of Texas City, TX.
The family would like to express their appreciation to all of
the caregivers and medical staff who gave her such loving care.
