Janice Irene Albritton's Obituary
Funeral services for Janice Irene Albritton of Longview will be held at Rosewood Park Mausoleum, Thursday, April 18th at 2 pm. On Monday, April 15th, 2024, Janice passed onto her eternal home where she now peacefully rests alongside her Savior, Jesus Christ, and the love of her life, James Coy Albritton. Mrs. Albritton, born Janice Irene Blanchard, arrived on earth September 16th, 1935, in Schenectady, New York to parents Allen and Lucy Brown Blanchard. Twenty years later, a blind date would have her meet her eventual husband and lifelong partner of sixty-one years, James. Their love would lead to the birth of four children: Kevin, Jim, Charlene, and Laura. Each of which married: Suzy, Cyndy, David, and Jimmy. From there, they were blessed with eleven grandchildren and over twenty great-grandchildren. Throughout her life, Janice experienced and accomplished things that she was incredibly proud of; from working in a New York Bakery to owning her own business. However, she was most proud of her relationship with the Lord, whom she faithfully served until she was called home. She was an active and faithful member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church where she enjoyed serving all who walked through its doors. In death, we know that she hoped to lead others to Jesus, whom she now gets to praise for all eternity.
