I was one of the high school girls who was fortunate to have Janet Wilson as her Sunday School teacher and to benefit from her Bible study and knowledge. She opened her home to us and I will always remember this lovely lady.##imported-begin##Sally Cooksey Ray##imported-end##

We send our deepest sympathy to the family of Janet Wilson.
Janet has been a neighbor and friend for thirty-five years and we were blessed to know her. Janet was a very special lady, always a smile on her face, a twinkle in her eye, a positive attitude, and a love of people and life. Every time I would see her walking which she did regularly and picking up pieces of litter on Amherst She liked a clean neighborhood or speeding down the street like a teen on her way to something important, she would stop to visit and ask about us and our sons. She was a fun, fiesty lady and she did love the Lord very much. She told us often.
I know that Janet will be missed very much by family and friends, but what fond memories we all will have of her. Tom and Robin Burns##imported-begin##Tom and Robin Burns##imported-end##

Dear Dorothy. All day I have been re-visiting and re-enjoying thoughts of Janet. What wonderful memories of her as teacher and YP's director in the late '40s. She knew the Bible and how to apply it to our lives. The socials and banquets and her artistic touch to make them fun and special. Her constant smile and postive atitude. Her home on Hollybrook and the warmth of a visit there. Her Christian example was a major influence in my life. I know she, the Scroggins, and my dad are having a great visit. With love to you.
