Janet Marie Low Foster's Obituary
Janet Marie Low Foster peacefully departed this world to be with Christ on May 24, 2025. Services will be held at Forest Hill Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at noon. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home from 6 to 8 pm, Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
Born on November 21, 1943, in Corsicana, Texas, to JB and Nadean Low, Janet was a devoted wife, mother, and "Nanny" who saw the best in everyone she met and exemplified unconditional Christian love.
Janet's family was her world, and she had the photos to prove it. She loved caring for her flowers, crocheting, cooking for her family, collecting cookbooks, and playing UNO with her grandchildren. She was an expert homemaker and was happiest when hosting family gatherings in her home.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, JB and Nadean Low, and her sister, Lynda Low.
Janet is survived by James "Leon" Foster, her loving husband of 64 years. Other survivors include her son, Michael Foster and wife Rhonda of Hallsville, Texas; daughter, Susan Graves and husband Jase of Longview, Texas; son, David Foster and wife Miranda of Longview, Texas; grandchildren, Heather Beaird and husband Justin, Jennifer Foster, Allyson "Ally" Graves, Anna Graves, Abigail "Abbie" Graves, Gracie Foster, Emma Kate Foster and Carter Boyd; great-grandchildren, Briley Renfro and husband Tj, and Taylor Plummer; and her beloved cat (who loved her far more than he loved anyone else), Boots.
Honoring Janet as pallbearers are Michael Foster, David Foster, Jase Graves, Wendell Boozer, Tommy Hunt, and Bill Brown.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be honored by donations to Forest Hill Baptist Church, 315 Forest Hill Church Road, Longview, Texas, 75605.
A heartfelt thank you to Heart to Heart Hospice for making her final days peaceful. A special thanks to caregivers Violet Payne and Ginger Torres for the loving care they showed her every day and night they took care of her.
