James H. Watson, Jr's Obituary
Funeral services for James H. Watson Jr., age 79 of Henderson, will be held Thursday February 25, 2016 at 10am in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Crims Chapel Cemetery.
James was born July 24, 1936 in Burlington, NC to James Harold and Ola Apple Watson, and died Monday February 22, 2016 in Tyler. Mr. Watson was a retired veteran from the armed services having served 26 years in the US Army and 20 years in the US Navy. He also retired from the Pentagon in Washington DC in 2000. He was also a member of the West Main Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Mildred C. Watson of Henderson, daughters Debbie Iovinetti of Forest , VA, and Donna Dukes of Henderson, son James H. Watson III, Woodbridge, VA, also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1great great grandchild.
Visitation will be from 9:00am until 10:00amThursday before the service at the funeral home.
