James Turner's Obituary
Memorial Service for James Earl Turner will be on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home. Visitation, Monday, February 29, 2016, the night before, between 6-8 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home.
James lived most of his life in Longview. He attended school at Pine Tree and graduated from Sabine High School. He served two years in the U.S. Navy and worked in construction. He loved motorcycles, four-wheelers, working on cars, being an uncle, and the outdoors.
He is missed deeply by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Tammy Renae Schwartz and father, Roger Earl Turner; great-grandparents, George Cleveland, Richard and Gean Johnson, Grady and Maggie Nevill; cousin, John Britton Nevill.
He is survived by his sister, Jennifer Renae Turner-Hudson of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, brother, Jacob Wood of Arlington, Texas, maternal Grandparents, Melvin and Donna Schwartz of Overton, Texas, paternal grandparents, Edna “Ridgey” Nevill-McKillop and husband James McKillop of Longview, Texas, great-grandmother, Pauline Hooks of Longview, Texas, aunts, Sandy Turner-Smith of Longview, Texas and Alisha Yarbrough of Seattle, Washington, uncles, Michael Schwartz of Overton, Texas and John Smith of Dallas, Texas, nieces, Brooklyn and Braylyn Hudson of Pleasant Hill, Missouri and Leighton Wood of Lindale, Texas, cousins who were more like brothers, Brandon Smith of Longview, Texas and Christopher Smith of Longview, Texas, cousins who looked up to James as an uncle, Addison and Ace Smith of Longview, Texas and many other extended family members, friends and loved ones.
