James Tristum Medlin Walker's Obituary
James Tristum Medlin Walker born September 18, 1936, in Gilmer, passed away Friday, October 24, 2003 in Houston. He had been a White Oak resident for 20 years. He is survived by his loving wife Judy of White Oak; daughter, Janette Walker of White Oak; daughter and son-in-law, Janiece and Larry Stokes of Longview; grandson, Colby Tristum Stokes; mother, Estelle Walker of East Mountain; sister, Lavern Chaplin of Longview, Margie Fischer and Pat Amos of East Mountain, Marie Brown of New Summerfield; brother, Jimmy Walker of Longview; and several nieces and nephews.
J.T. served as a Sergeant in the Army for 3 years, worked over seas several years as an instrument technician in the oil fields. He will be remembered with love by all his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday, October 27, 2003 at the White Oak Methodist Church with the Reverend Richard Prather officiating. Burial will follow in New White Oak Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM Sunday afternoon, October 26, 2003 at the funeral home, 1617 Judson Road.
