To me Jim was always "Uncle Jim". He was gone a lot in the Navy when I was younger and after he retired I was in the Air Force and gone myself. But, when we were together you could count on Uncle Jim to be the life of the party. He was always laughing (usually at me) and telling joke. I can never remember a time when he didn't have a smile on his face. He will be missed. Until we meet again.

I know Mr. Tipton as Pa, my brother in laws dad, the GRAND- Parent to my neices Chasity, Laura and my nephew Garrett, but he wasn't just their Pa he was my children's Pa and my other sisters children's Pa he treated em all as if they were his own grandkids , every Christmas every birthday He n NeNe made sure Kimberly Ashley Todd Ty and Heather had gifts and their time just as Chasity Laura and Garrett did, he was always happy and thoughtful I think he was a remarkable role model of a husband, and his love for his daughter was soft and kind as his pride for his son was modest but evident we loved him and he will always be our Pa.
