James Thomas McCune's Obituary
Graveside services for Mr. James T. McCune, age 75 of Henderson, will be held Saturday December 27, at 2:00pm at the McCune Cemetery near Laneville. Burial will follow under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mr. McCune died Sunday December 21, 2008 at Autumn Leaves Nursing Facility.
James McCune was born October 16, 1933 in Rusk County. He was retired from
Texas Highway Department. He was a veteran having served in the Korean Conflict, and was a member and past commander of VFW Post 8535.
Mr. McCune was preceded in death by his wife Wanda, his parents Earl & Bessie Mae McCune.
He is survived by daughters Jimmie Lynn McCune of Henderson, Roxanne Lackner of Oklahoma City, OK, grandchildren Christopher & Clinton Lackner
Pallbearers will be Tommy Tomlinson, Rusty Minor, Dillon Tomlinson, Wesley Tomlinson, Mitchell Tomlinson, and Michael Cates.
The Family will meet friends at the VFW Post 8535 after the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made the McCune Cemetery Fund, or the VFW Post 8535
