James Russell Wilson's Obituary
Funeral services for James Russell Wilson , 44, of Longview will be held 2 PM Thursday, July 8th at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating at the service will be Gary Sanders, Leonard Riley, Jr., Bennie Bristow and Robert Johnson. Burial will be at Memory Park Cemetery. Russell died Monday, July 5th at a Dallas hospital. He was born in Magnolia, Arkansas July 20, 1959 to Morgan and Sue White Wilson. The family moved from Waldo, Arkansas to West Columbia, Texas and later on to Longview where Russell graduated from Pine Tree High School and Kilgore College. He was a draftsman by trade, but had been disabled the past few years.
Russell was a member of the Church of Christ, having put on Christ in baptism in his early teens.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Suzanne , in 1976. He is survived by his parents, Morgan and Sue Wilson of Longview, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at 122 South College, Suite 209, Tyler, TX 75702.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Wednesday evening 5:30 to 7:00 PM.
