I was so blessed to know Leon and to share Sunday mornings with him in my Sunday school class and my church. He always had a smile on his face and will be greatly missed. My prayers are with all his family through this difficult time.

We will truly miss visiting with Mr. Rushing in Brookshire's. It was always such a pleasure serving him as he shopped our store. I first met him back in the 80's at the old store in Kilgore when he had his machine shop there. He was such a fine man. Our deepest sympathies to his family.

Leon was not only a longtime customer but also a dear friend. We will truly miss his kindness and smile. I have known Leon for a very long time. I lived in Mt. Pleasant as I was growing up. Our paths crossed several times over the years. The last time I saw him was at a doctors office. I am so sorry for your loss. Just remember he touched so many lives and he will be missed!
