We will truly miss visiting with Mr. Rushing in Brookshire's. It was always such a pleasure serving him as he shopped our store. I first met him back in the 80's at the old store in Kilgore when he had his machine shop there. He was such a fine man. Our deepest sympathies to his family.

Leon was not only a longtime customer but also a dear friend. We will truly miss his kindness and smile. He made our day brighter when he would come in The Coin Investor, we looked forward to his visits and know that we will someday be joined together again and for all eternity! We lost a long time good friend. Leon was a good man, we worked together in different machine shops. My condolences to the family.
I have known Leon for a very long time. I lived in Mt. Pleasant as I was growing up. Our paths crossed several times over the years. The last time I saw him was at a doctors office. I am so sorry for your loss. Just remember he touched so many lives and he will be missed!
