James "Jim" Ross' Obituary
James Arthur Ross of Lake Cherokee went to his Savior on May 25, 2015. He was born August 5, 1939 in Long Beach, Ca.to Maxine Martin and Robert Nicole Ross.
A memorial for James (Jim) will be held at Church on Lake Cherokee at 12:00 noon on Thursday, May 28, 2015.
Jim was preceded in death by his mother Maxine Martin Chorn and Bob Ross. He is survived by his loving wife Carol Perry Ross. Daughter Stacey Kay Young and husband Benny Young, son Michael Robert Ross. Step-children Kit Connally and husband Rex Connally and Kelly Mitchel and wife Brita Mitchel. Grandchildren Joshua James Young and Chance Ray Young.
Jim was in the United States Coast Guard in 1947 for 2 years. He then moved to the DFW area and owned his own company, National Mediquip for 20 years selling repertory equipment and home health equipment. He later retired with his wife to Lake Cherokee where he enjoyed the easy life. He loved living in the woods with the native landscape and peaceful pace of life.
Jim was a people person and had never met a stranger. He could talk but he was a great listener too! He will be missed by many.
