James Robert Hewitt's Obituary
A memorial service for James Robert Hewitt, 72, of Longview will be held at 4 PM Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Winterfield United Methodist Church with Reverend Rita Simms officiating. Cremation arrangements are with Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Hewitt passed away Saturday evening at his home.
Mr. Hewitt was born on June 2, 1935 in Portsmouth, OH to Harold and Geraldine Hewitt. He proudly served his country in the US Army and worked as a Steel worker for Anvil Products. He was also a member of Winterfield United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Canter, of Longview; his brother, Harold F. Hewitt, of Circleville, OH; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
