James Leo Rateliff's Obituary
James Leo “Papa” Rateliff, age 75, of Hallsville, Texas, passed away on August 17, 2018. He was born on November 12, 1942.
Mr. Rateliff was preceded in death by his mother and father, one brother, and 3 sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Jeanie Rateliff; son Jimmy of Lake of the Pines, son Kevin and wife “Michelle” of Hallsville, daughter Rhonda and husband “Gene” of Longview; 19 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra Wilhite of Florida; nieces and nephews; an extended family of grandkids; and Summer Meadows family and friends.

The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of visitation on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 6 PM till 8PM. A Celebration of his life will take place on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 beginning at 3 PM at the Chapel of Rader Funeral in Longview with a committal service to follow at Rosewood Park.
A memorial benefit fund has been set up at Austin Bank by Kevin Ratliff.
