Helen and Family;
We wanted to let you know we love you and our prayers are with you.
Uncle James was such a major force
in the family. For me I will miss
him calling me Drag ALong.
Love to all.##imported-begin##John and Jan Shoemaker and family##imported-end##
Uncle James marked my soul begining with the summer he was 15 and used to tease me by singing "Here comes the Dolly with the hole in her stocking" until this2 year old cried. The mysterious nights when he and Helen picked one or two of us up late at night for unknown adventures at the cabin, of which there were many. Then I remember Uncle James saying it's time for you to learn to swim and threw me out in the strip pit and I swam.
I learned to be fearless and to love aventure. And went to college just like him. One of my heros always. He will be missed but his spirit lives on.....
Love to Helen, and the kids,

Both Ray and I have loving memories
of Jim. During high school he spent summers with us while he worked for the RR in KC. A good friend all through the years. Love
