James Paul Delafield's Obituary
Memorial services for James Paul Delafield, 63, of Cushing, are set for 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at the Rader Funeral Chapel in Henderson with Rev. Gerald Pepper officiating.
Mr. Delafield died Monday, November 26, 2007, at his residence.
He was born August 13, 1944, in Jacksonville to William Bryan and Mabel Youngblood Delafield. He was a graduate of Laneville High School and attended Stephen F. Austin University. He was a member of the Glenfawn Baptist Church and was a retired operator for Stroh?s.
Mr. Delafield was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers , Joe B. Delafield and Bobby Delafield.
Surviving is his wife, Mary Alice Delafield of Cushing; daughters, Wendy Swalling and husband Brent of Henderson and Cindy Hathorn and husband James of Houston; brother, Jack Delafield and wife Brenda of Baytown; sisters-in-law, Jean Delafield of Mineola and Tena Delafield of Cushing; granddaughters, Della Niko of Henderson and Lily Hathorn of Houston; several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
If desired, memorials may be made to the Glenfawn Cemetery Association.
