Pat was a wonderful example in high school of rising above one's circumstances to become a caring, contributing person. His quiet charm and wonderful sense of humor endeared him to those of us who were blessed with his friendship. Pat was a wonderful 'Grand-dad' to my daughter Macy. I'm so thankful for the time she got to spend with him at the lake. Pat was a wonderful neighbor. We cherished him . Pat was always there for needs of people. A kind, giving, happy person. All you had to do was pick up the phone and he would be there for you. We have been sailing buddies with Pat and Debbie for many years. We have many wonderful memories of the times we shared and will miss him and think of him whenever we are on the lake. He wrote many funny poems for Doc and gave us a lot of laughs.

Pat was a wonderful guy. He was thoughtful and considerate, he had a fine sense of humor, and he had a special kind of charm. I'm proud to say he was one of my dearest friends for 40 years, and I'll miss him greatly.
