James O'Neal's Obituary
Funeral services for James "Bud" O'Neal, 88, of Longview will be held at 3 PM in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. O'Neal passed away Thursday morning in Longview. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
James was born on October 20, 1921 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to John and Irene O'Neal. After high school, Mr. O'Neal proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He was retired from Lone Star Steel where he worked for over 30 years as an instrument man. He was also a long time member of the Judson Road Church of Christ.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 71 years, Christine O'Neal; his daughter and son-in-law, Jenny and James Waites; grandson, Daniel Waites; and granddaughter, Sarah Waites.
