James Louie Shipp's Obituary
A graveside service for James Louie Shipp, 73, of Henderson will be 2 PM Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Shipp passed away Saturday morning in a Henderson hospital. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
James was born on January 14, 1935 in Ore City, Texas to Oscar and Lillie Shipp. He worked at Competition Trailers in Henderson and was attending the Just As You Are Church in Henderson.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Steele; his children and their spouses, Billy Don and Linda Shipp, Bobby and Nilene Shipp, Roger and Pam Shipp, Tony Shipp, Larry Shipp, and Vinson and Esther Shipp; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Tommy and Jimmy Shipp.
