James Linn Fall's Obituary
James Linn Fall, 83, of Longview, died Wednesday morning, October 24, 2007 in Longview.
He was born January 15, 1924 in Rusk, Texas to James Linn Fall, Sr. and Winnie Lenore Gray Fall.
Mr. Fall graduated high school in Chireno, Texas and attended Stephen F. Austin State University, and North Texas Agricultural College before enlisting in the Army Air Corps. He proudly served during WWII as
Radio/Gunner on a B-17.
He retired from Texas Eastman as an Electric and Instrument technician. He also enjoyed many years as an amateur radio operator, K5JF.
Mr. Fall is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Dorothy Eaves Fall of Longview; two daughters and sons-in-law, Alison and Bachman Nabors of Kempner, TX, Patti and Lamar Clark of Southlake, TX. Four grandchildren, Gary Keenan of Longview, Charlie Keenan and his wife, Heather, serving in the U. S. Army, Jeff Clark of Southlake, TX, and Katie Clark Thurman and her husband, Tim, of Houston, TX.
Memorial services for Mr. Fall will be held at their family farm in Lufkin, Texas for his family.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to his nurses and aides for all their care during his stay at Summer Meadows. Special thanks to Ruby Williams for all the time she spent with him and his family. Also, a thank you for all the help received from Heart?sWay Hospice.
