I was with JIM in the battles in 1944 and was often out in the field during the action. I served as the COMMO man and was doing that on Nov. 28th when I was wounded by german 88 artillery fire and so left the company then.

In our younger days Jim and I enjoyed working together at Southwestern Bell Telephone and spending weekends water skiing and fishing at local lakes. Jim was an honorable man and a good friend.
