Funeral services for James Kevin Eddington, 35, of Gladewater, will be held at 4 PM Tuesday, February 3, 2004 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Dr. Laney Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Monday, February 2, 2004 at the funeral home.
Kevin was born on March 28, 1968 in Overton to Jimmy and Jeanie Eddington. He passed away on Saturday morning, January 31, 2004 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was a supervising computer software technician, coached little league baseball with the GYBB, a Dallas Cowboy fan, and enjoyed music and spending time with his family.
A loving son, husband, and father, Kevin is survived by his wife, Angela Eddington of Gladewater; sons, James Christian Eddington of Longview, Abel Eddington of Gladewater; step son, Seth Semlear of Longview; parents; brothers and sister-in-law, Stanley and Jennifer Eddington of Colorado Springs, CO., Todd Eddington of Hawkins; sister and brother-in-law, Marcy and Andy Marshall of Troup; paternal grandmother, Frances Eddington of Madill, OK.; maternal grandparents, Gene and Mary Davis of Overton; mother and father-in-law, Joe and Mary Jo Semlear of Longview; brother-in-law, Jon Semlear of Austin; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
