James Kent Thomas' Obituary
James Kent Thomas age 70 passed away Friday, October 14, 2011 at Longview Regional Medical Center, Longview, Texas after a short illness.
James was born in Dallas, Texas to Williams Merritt Thomas and Hesta Hattie Dreyer Thomas August 24, 1941 and was currently living in Longview, Texas.
He enjoyed working with his father in the Justice Life Insurance Company and working out of what he called The Lumber Yard building churches and houses in and around Ft. Worth and Dallas. James served our country in the United States Coast Guard during the Viet Nam war.
James is survived by his loving wife Darlene Thomas, Longview, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed. He is preceded in passing by his mother, Hesta Dreyer Thomas, father, William Merritt Thomas, step-mother, Mollie C. Thomas and brother, Charles M. Thomas.
