James "Jimmy" Curtis McCauley's Obituary
James "Jimmy" Curtis McCauley loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 11, 2012 at Good Shepherd Medical Center, Longview surrounded by his loving family.
Jimmy was born February 15, 1956 in Coalgate Oklahoma to Curtis and Edith McCauley. He loved his family, friends and church and enjoyed helping others. Jimmy grew up in Hemphill, Texas and graduated from Hemphill High School in 1975.
He attended Le Tourneau University where he received his Bachelor of Business Degree. He served in the Knights of Columbus and "Saturday Bread" for many years while living in Kilgore.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Paula McCauley, daughter, Erica McCauley, two grandchildren, Gianna and Lucca McCauley all of Longview, mother, Edith McCauley of Hemphill, Texas, sister, Sandy Hopson and her husband Raymond of Jasper, Texas, brother, Larry McCauley and his wife Elizabeth of San Augustine, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in passing by his father Curtis McCauley.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Matthew's Catholic Church, Longview at 1pm, Thursday, September 13, 2012. Interment will follow at Rosewood Park, Longview.
Suggested family donations may be made to St. Mathew's Building Fund or Heartsway Hospice.
