James Keith Honeycutt's Obituary
James Keith Honeycutt went home to be with our Lord and Savior on November 21, 2017. He was born on September 5th, 1944 in Shreveport, Louisiana and was raised in Houston, Texas where he met his wife and started his family. He was a diesel mechanic by trade and retired from Halliburton in Kilgore, Texas. He was a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church in Lakeport, Texas where he loved his Men’s Class. He was a strong and devoted Christian who loved serving our Lord first. He passed his strong values and ethics on to everyone he met. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Christine Honeycutt, and his wife of 53 years Donna Honeycutt. He is survived by his brother, Otis Honeycutt and wife Amber. Five children: Jason Honeycutt and wife Terri, Belinda Freeman and husband Joey, Guy Honeycutt and wife Shauna, Otis Honeycutt and wife Meg, Nora Scaglione and husband Peter. Grandchildren: Chani, Chelsi, Randy, Cari, Nathan, Garrett, Connor, Maegan, Austin, Kara, Clay, Peter, Reagan, and two greatgrandchildren.
Services will be 12pm Saturday November 25, 2017 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson with Rev. Gary Orr officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 4 pm at the Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2pm Tuesday November 28, 2017 at Brookside Memorial Park in Houston.
