James Elton Hill's Obituary
James Elton Hill of White Oak passed away at home with his family on Wednesday May 23, 2018. He was born April 24, 1933 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
James honorably served in the US Army. He married Joyce Gray in Eldorado, Texas in 1956. They moved to Longview where he was employed by the Longview Police Department and he became one of the department’s first two Detectives.
James is survived by his wife, Joyce, daughter, Lacy Hill Eidt and her husband Dr. John Eidt of Dallas, son, Russell Hill and his wife Joanne of Plano, and one grandson, Andrew James Hill of Lubbock..

There will be no funeral service. Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Rader Funeral Home in Longview.
