Trudy, so sorry to hear about James passing, we truly will miss him.He was such a wonderful man, friends to many people dedicated to one friend and that being V.G.Rollins. James was an outstanding member to East Texas Metal Detecting Club, that is where we met James, As always he was there with a smile and always something good to say everyone.

So, so sorry for your loss! I am Charlie Allen. I worked with James during the late 60's and the 70's and 80's. I transferred to a different department from him in the 70's. Once, I took James to Caddo Lake and served as his guide. I took him all over the lake for a whole day in my boat so he could take pictures. He gave me a large print of one of his Caddo pictures which I still have. I have always remembered him as a gentleman and considered him a good friend. Best wishes to the family as you heal.
So sad to loose a good friend that meant so much to so many people. We will all miss James as we work in the kitchen at Church and as we play dominoes. My heart and prayers are with Trudy and all the family. May God give you peace and comfort knowing that he is not in pain but is with our Lord and Savior.
James was someone I looked up to and he was a great influence in my life. I will miss James my friend.
