Claire and Family:

Sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. He was our vet when we lived in Longview and always took great care of our dog, Snooper. Snooper had to go to doggie heaven in 1977 after getting distempter and we have had several dogs since but Snooper will always have a special place in our hearts.

We went to school together from 6th grade to 10th and then my dad's job took us to Mississippi where I graduated. We now live in North Richland Hills, TX

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and may God comfort and keep you.

Dear Mrs. Dawson and all the rest of Dr. Dawson's Loved ones,

I was deeply saddened at the passing of Dr. Dawson.

I will never forget how well he took care of Tolouse, our white French poodle, and all the rest of our pets. He was a very good, caring man. He looked at our pets-not just as "cases," but God's creatures like all the rest of us. He went over and beyond the call of duty for our beloved pets and friends.

He will be sorely missed by all of us who had the good fortune to know him. Yet, our loss of him is Heaven's gain.

I heard of Bro. Dawson's passing only yesterday, after the funeral and this is the only way I knew to contact you. I am very sorry for all of the pain you are having to deal with at this time. But I wanted you to know that I am thinking of you and that you are in my prayers. I will always cherish the goodtimes that we all shared at South Side. I am sorry that I didn't know in time to attend the visitation or funeral. I know Bro. James loved the Lord with all of his heart and is now in His presence...
