James Eddie Wallace's Obituary
Funeral services for Mr. James E. Wallace, age 82 of Henderson, will be held Wednesday October 22, 2008 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with the Rev. James Boatman & Rayford Beall officiating.. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery.
Mr. Wallace died Sunday October 19, 2008 at Henderson Memorial Hospital.
He was born November 1, 1925 in the Liberty Community. He was self employed in the pulp wood business, and had worked for Fiberglass Specialty. He was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Kilgore.
James E. Wallace was quiet man & honest man with a big heart, always helping people in need. If you were in the hospital, had a death in the family, or car trouble, he was there to help. He loved everyone, and was always there for his family, friends, and even strangers.
He was preceded in death by his parents Sam & Fannie Wallace, daughters Jackie Patton, and Teresa Kay Wallace, brothers, Brady & Henry Wallace, sisters Stella Maples, and Jewel Albrarator.
Survivors include his wife Deloris Wallace of Henderson whom he married in 1951, daughters Kathy Eubanks & husband Eddie of Ore City, and Dian Jenkins of Henderson, son Don Wallace of Henderson and son-in-law Jimmy Patton of Henderson. Grandchildren are Jennifer Patton-Kitchens & husband Barney of Henderson, Mitzi Phillips & husband Joseph of Henderson, Cindy Jones & Chris DeJean of Henderson, Randy Jenkins & Twilla Franklin of Henderson, Jamie Don Eubanks & Ashley of Panama City, Fl., Shane Eubanks of Ore City, Kristi Forbes of Jefferson, Tanya & Joe Shaltay of Ore City, and there are 12 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Smith, Glen Smith, Larry Wallace, Billy Wayne Wallace, Bobby Joe Tiner, and Dale Wood. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Mithchell, Bob Corrie, Jim Smith, Joel McKinley, Chris DeJean, Bob Sullivan and Jack Smitherman.
The family visitation will be from 5pm – 7pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
