I am still in shcok that James is no longer with us and so sad that I will never get the chance to see him again. I was so looking forward to seeing him at our upcoming Class Reunion because it has been many years since I've talked to James. The thing I remember most about James is what you saw is what you got -- if we only had a few more just like him! To his kids - I lost my dad at 18 so I know what you're going through - I had time to prepare and you didn't, which I know must be so much harder. I think James would want us all to learn a lesson from this and that is live each day like it's your last because we truly do not know when that day is. You guys are in my prayers. Meagan, Dalton, Teresa and family,
I pray that the Lord will give you comfort and strength, and that time will allow you to remember James with smiles instead of tears. I know that it is hard to understand, and easy to question God’s infinite wisdom in taking someone so precious, so soon. I know that it is seems impossible to let go because death seems so final. However, I hope that you find comfort in the fact that when someone departs this life to be accepted into the loving arms of our Lord, it is not goodbye; it is only see you later.
