James W. Cochran's Obituary
James William Cochran was born in Minden, TX on December 12, 1931 and passed away in Longview, TX on February 20, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thelma G. and George F. Cochran, and his sisters; Ruby L. Sikes and husband Woodrow and Margie C. Noron and husband Melvin.
James is survived by his nephews; Gary W. Sikes, Dale G. Sikes and Roy D. Sikes, along with numerous other nieces and nephews.
James was born in Minden, TX but was raised in Marshall, TX. He served in the National Guard as well as the U.S. Army and Army Reserves, serving from 1951 to 1960. He also worked for Swepco as a Supervisor for many years until retirement.
