James was a big part of the Miracle League. He was "a voice" to most because he spent most of his time in our "press box". Often not seen, but we all knew the voice. He gave up his Saturday's mornings to help make it fun for all of our kids with very little recognition. His work did not go unnoticed. He will be missed by many. He did for others and God called him home. A job well done.
Had the privilege of meeting James a year ago. Once a week for three hours we would discuss what was going on in the world, his job that he so loved at Mr Cooper, his weekend plans with a friend, his trip to Scotland, tv shows that we both watched and his love for animals. Kind, thoughtful and sincere are the first 3 qualities that come to mind to describe him. I will truly miss you my friend!
