James C. Goss
Funeral services for James C. Goss, 75, of White Oak will be held at Ten O?clock AM Monday November 29, 2004 at the White Oak Baptist Church with Reverend Wade Duck and Reverend James A. Kirkland officiating. Interment will be in Cave Springs Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Goss passed away Friday November 26, 2004 at his residence.
He was born April 5, 1929 in Adair, Oklahoma to Chester and Alvertie Goss. He had resided in White Oak since 1957 moving there from Oregon. He was a Baptist; he was a self-employed dirt contractor and a pipeliner. He loved country and western music and was an Antique car buff, having restored a 1929 Model A and 1971 Mustang.
He is survived by his wife Mollie Waldron Goss of White Oak, TX.; daughter and son-in-law, Cathryn and Rip Duncan of Tyler, TX.; son and daughter-in-law, James L. and Pamela Goss of Murphy, TX.; one granddaughter, Erin Goss, two sisters, Trilby A. Keys of Longview, TX.; Betty Johnson of Drumright, OK.; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday November 28, 2004 from 6pm until 8 pm.
