James "Bo" Barrett's Obituary
Services for James Edward “Bo” Barrett, 82, of Henderson will be 10:00am Thursday December 14, 2017 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Tim Turlington officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery.
Bo was born in Mt. Enterprise on May 1, 1935 to Horace and Beatrice Barrett. Better known as Bo, he had several jobs through the years but was honored to serve as Rusk County Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 from 1983 to 1990.
His greatest passion was his family, cattle and his garden. He was very proud of his grandkids and later, great-grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Janette Elliott and his infant son, Larry Edward Barrett.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Jane Smith Barrett; daughter, Sandra Davis and husband Mitch; grandchildren, Sarah Clark and husband Nate, Mallory Spencer and husband Shade; great-grandchildren, Kaylie & Ashton Clark and Sadie Spencer.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Thompson, Matt Doerge, James Elliott, Shade Spencer, Nathan Clark and Leonard Martin.
The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
