James Arthur Partain's Obituary
Memorial services for James Arthur Partain, 53, of Gilmer, will be 4 PM Saturday in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tony Ciomperlik officiating.
Mr. Partain died Thursday morning in a Longview hospital.
A native of Longview, he was born October 9, 1948 to Lloyd and Mary Partain. He was a fork lift operator for Stemco Manufacturing. Mr. Partain served his country during the Vietnam war in the US Marine Corp and received the Purple Heart.
Survivors include his wife: Debbie of Gilmer; Sons: Shamus Partain of Kansas and Jacob Partain of Gilmer; Daughter: Sonya Partain of Overton; Stepsons; David Carter of White Oak, Stephen Carter of White Oak, Kevin Carter of Tolus, Oregon, Terry Carter of Longview, Gregg Carter of Hallsville and Clyde Frazier of Amarillo; Step Daugh-ters: Katherine Ebersole of Washington, Amanda Catron of Longview, Crystal Frazier of Longview; Mother: Mary Partain of Longview; Brothers: Albert of Longview, Eddie of Washington, D.C., Tom of Arizona, Curtis of California; Sister: Donna Phillips of Longview; Sixteen 16 Grandchildren; Special Friends: Glen Bybee, Beverly, Tonya and Shannon
