Floyd and Ellen and family, so sorry to learn of your brother's passing. I did not know him, but his education and career was impressive. These times are not easy, but he is at peace. Remember the good memories and the fun family occasions.

I had Mr Anderson in the 6th grade, and one time I was not paying attention so he asked me what kind of Zebras do lions eat, I replied, black and white striped ones. He never let me live that one down. I also remember him being a huge hunter (ducks I think) and he so wanted a Chevy Blazer.

I was a student of Mr. Anderson's in the 6th grade and he gave me the nickname, "Big John." I know I tested his patience more than any other student, yet he would just smile and keep trying to teach me something.
I'll never forget his passion for teaching, his love for his students and how he spoke often about his, "True Love"- Mrs. Anderson.
Mr. Anderson, thank you. I am sure by now you have heard the words, "Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant."

I remember Mr. Anderson from my first year in the early eighties at Pine Tree Middle School. What a wonderful man, and great teacher! He was one of my favorites. He taught me sixth-grade mathematics, and I remember his liberal use of the term "Dead Ned" which still cracks me up thirty four years later. Thank you, Mr. Anderson...
