On Wednesday, June 6th, 2018, James Coy Albritton left this world to spend eternity
with his Heavenly Father. Mr. Albritton was born on February 14th, 1937, in Wichita
Falls, Texas, to Chesley and Maggie Albritton. He bravely served his country in the
Army from 1955 to 1963. While serving in the Army he was set up on a blind date
where he met the love of his life, Jan Albritton. They went on to be married April 6th,
1957. They would end up spending 61 loving years together. That blind date would
lead to four children: Kevin, Jim, Charlene, and Laura. They each married: Suzy,
Cyndy, David, and Jimmy. Those loving marriages blessed Mr. Albritton with 11
grandkids, and 16 great-grandkids. He spent his days golfing, gardening, and
enjoying the bountiful family God had blessed him with. If you were to ask Jim, his
real birthdate would be May 2nd, 1993, the day he accepted his Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ. He went on to become a Deacon at Woodland Hills Baptist Church
where he gained many loving friends. Through his death, Jim wanted nothing more
than to lead others to the Lord and Savior that he knew and loved so much.
