Jake Loftis' Obituary
Cody Jake Loftis age 35 a lifelong resident of Longview, Texas died on March 30, 2023, He
attended Tatum Texas ISD and received his Welding Certification from Kilgore College.
Jake was a welder by trade and enjoyed cooking with different charity benefits. Jake also had a hobby of making metal art crosses. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with buddies, spending time with his daughters, and his canine companion Skid. Jake received Jesus as his Savior at Mobberly Baptist Church as a teenager.
He is survived by his mother Regina Loftis of Mena, Arkansas, and his father Mark Loftis of
Gilmer, Texas. His daughters Maddy and Mia Loftis. His maternal grandparents Forrest & Mari
Meador of Longview, Texas. His paternal grandparents Nancy & J W Pepper of Tatum, Texas
and Bill & Peggy Loftis of Gilmer, Texas. His Aunt Rhonda Meador and Uncle Mike Meador of
Longview. His Uncle Tracy & Aunt Brenda of Dallas. His Aunt Kelly and Uncle Tracy Acker of
Beckville, Texas. Jake had numerous cousins from both sides of the family.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Sunday evening at Rader Funeral Home of Longview. There will be a private family graveside service on Monday at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Maydell, Texas.
