Jacqueline English Sproles' Obituary
Funeral services for Jacqueline English Jackie Sproles, 73, of Henderson will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 3, 2008, at the Rader Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bill Aven officiating. Burial will be in Rusk County Memorial Gardens under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Miss Sproles died Friday, February 29, 2008 at Hospice Homeplace in Tyler.
She was born February 28, 1935 in Jacksonville to John and Bessie Mae Sproles of Price and Lake Striker. She was a lifetime member of Carlisle Baptist Church and faithfully attended West Main Baptist Church for 11 years. Jackie celebrated her 73rd birthday February 28, exceeding her lifespan six times that was predicted for her with her cerebral palsy. One of her passions was the Missions of her church.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; great niece, Jodi Nichole Sproles of Henderson; both paternal grandparents, John B. and Mary Sproles of Benhams, VA; maternal grandparents, C.C. and Lena Miller of Price; numerous aunts, uncles, and a cousin Tommy Sproles.
Surviving is her twin brother, Johnny Sproles and wife Lois of Henderson; nieces, Teri Sproles Geneva of Henderson and her fiancée Bert Cameron of Beckville, Elaine Hutto Mote and husband David of Tyler; nephews, Andy Sproles and wife Ginger of Kilgore, Bruce Sproles of Henderson and his fiancée Marcia Shelton of Flint, Dennis Hutto and wife Tina of Henderson; great nephews, Cody Geneva and Brodi Sproles of Henderson, Jason Mote of Tyler, Mark Hutto of Lufkin; great nieces, Kristin Mote of Tyler, Sara
Hutto of Lufkin, Katie Hall of Waskom.
Pallbearers will be Larry Martin, Larry Searcy, Charles Ray Curbo, John Clyde Arledge, Gary Taylor, Blake Pirtle, Hank Wiggins, and Eddison Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Russell, Raymond Darragh, Sonny Riddle and Gerald Marsh.
Visitation will be Sunday at the funeral home from 4 to 6 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mission Program of West Main Baptist Church, Carlisle Baptist Church Mission Fund, or Hospice of East Texas.
