Jacob Johnson's Obituary
A Mass of Christian Services for Jacob Johnson, 17, of Diana will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 2 p.m. A Rosary will be held at 1:30 p.m. prior to Mass. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 pm Friday. Jacob passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2014 in Diana.
Jacob was born in Longview, Texas on December 27, 1996. He attended Diana Schools, received his G.E.D and enjoyed his job at Affordable Tree Service. Jacob had many hobbies that included baseball, hunting, dirt bikes, four wheeling and especially raising animals. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers Arthur Johnson and Frank G. Janis; aunt Jean Hansell and uncle Arthur Johnson, Jr.
Jacob is survived by his father and step-mother Michael James and Patricia Johnson of Diana; mother and step father Gary and Louise Coffey of White Oak; sisters Elizabeth Johnson and her special friend Brett Portillo of Corinth, Texas, Erica M. Johnson and her special friend Matt Dausy of White Oak; grandmother Jacqueline Johnson of Houston; maternal grandmother Elizabeth Janis of Torrington, Connecticut; step siblings Aaron Lewis, Amanda Dornhorst of Sugarland, Texas, Cody Coffey of Longview, Justin Bridges of Longview; Kimberly Chambers of Italy; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
