Jackie Pope Smith's Obituary
Jackolyn “Jackie” Pope Smith passed away on March 24, 2024, after a long illness with daughter, Shannon DaMoude, and family by her side. Jackie’s birth, October 27, 1943, and passing are merely punctuation marks from a life lived in the service of others with fun, friends, family, and food. She loved the Lord through her love of people. Jackie was simply the party itself. She is survived by her husband, James Smith, daughter, Shannon Smith DaMoude, son-in-law, Jeff DaMoude, grandchildren, Luke and Catherine DaMoude, sister, Jeanetta Pope Payne, brother, Dr. Bill Pope, sister-in-law, Carla Smith, and loving nieces and nephew. A celebration of Jackie’s life will be held at Rader Funeral Home in Longview, Texas, on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 12:00 PM.
