Jackie Spencer Blackwell's Obituary
On the evening of October 13th,2025 Jackie Spencer Blackwell passed away in his sleep at the age of 75.
Jackie was born in Laurinburg, NC on September 11th,1950, to his Father and Mother Thomas and Violet Blackwell. Later in life he moved to Longview, Tx where he went door to door selling life insurance to the community, until he retired in the mid 90's.
For those who had the pleasure to meet him would let you know, he was a character. He was the life of the party and able to keep the laughs going and smiles on faces. During this hard time of his passing, know he wouldn't want you to cry for him but laugh, be happy, and tella joke. That's what he would've done.
He's preceded in death by his father and mother Thomas and Violet Blackwell, Sister Vera Harrison, Daughter Carol Blackwell, and nieces Tracie Deason and Rhonda Betts.
He's survived by daughter Jamie English, nieces Sheila Ezernack, Rachel Munoz Amanda Henderson, Erika Murry, and Ariana Munoz. Nephews Maddox Deason, and Jacob Henderson.
Graveside service will be held in Longview, Tx at Grace Hill Cemetery at 1 PM on October 24th, 2025.
