Jack E. Terry
Jack E. Terry, 87, of Longview, TX passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014. He was born December 26, 1926 in Morris, OK to Isaac and Gladys Veal Terry. He served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1956. Mr. Terry retired from Atlantic Richfield (ARCO) after 40 years of service, and was a Master Mason for more than 65 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Bill and Joe Terry; and his sister, June Terry.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 62 years, Gladys Thibodeaux Terry; his three daughters, Debbie Renshaw, Sherry Treadwell and husband Charlie, and Pam Robinson and husband Jeff.
Grandchildren, Misty Hughes and husband Joe, Brandy Taylor and husband Randy, Amber Huff and husband Eric, Brittney Beck and husband D.J., Trent Renshaw, Sarah Bettin and husband Brian, and Linzi Taylor and husband Zack.
Five great grandsons, Jack Taylor, Carter Beck, Brady and Mason Bettin, and Cade Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2014 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Reverend Billie Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
