Dear Nelda and family,
I was fortunate to have Jack as my Sunday School teacher at the First Methodist church, Longview. I still remember some of the wisdom that Jack passed on to us. On Sunday evenings, after MYF and church, we would go to Jack and Rose's house and "philosophize" as we called it. Rose would always fix us a dessert of some kind and was a constant source of kindness. Some evenings, I would go and read a book to Charlotte and Gregg....many happy memories.
My dear Nelda, I know how much Jack made you happy and you him. May God bring you peace with His loving care and that prayer is extended to the rest of the family.
Love,
Pat Roberts Edmondson
Nelda and family,
May you find comfort in the wonderful memories your family have of the years of fun with Jack on the lake. Peace be with you.

I grew up in Henderson next door to Jack Strong and his family, Charlotte and Greg. They were the sweetest family.....me and my Mom, Mrs. Reeves, would baby-sit the Strong children. I will never forget them.
My sincere condolences to the Strong Family.

Mrs. Strong and family you are in our thoughts and prayers.
I know how much Mrs. Strong will miss her husband. They were patrons of Skinner's Corner Store, my first job and they were among the nicest people who you would ever meet.
