Jack Semlear
Funeral services for Jack Semlear, 69, of Longview will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2014, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd., Longview. Burial will follow in Memory Park, 2823 E. Marshall Ave, Longview, TX. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. He passed away Monday, February 24, in a Shreveport hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Semlear was born November 4, 1944, in Longview, where he was a lifetime resident. He retired after 34 years as a sales manager for Keebler-Kellogg.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 46 years, Linda Walton Semlear of Longview; children, Eric Semlear and wife Kelly of Longview and Elaine Spratt and husband Michael of Conroe; grandchildren, Brayden and Allison Spratt and Olivia, Kate and Jessica Semlear; brothers, Joe Semlear and wife Mary Jo of Kilgore and Richard Semlear of Longview; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
