Jack Howell Riley, age 85, passed away on April 8, 2014 at his home in Longview surrounded by loved ones. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 1 pm at Fellowship Bible Church located at 4600 McCann Road in L Read Obituary
My deepest sympathy goes out to all of Jack's family at this time of sorrow. Jack was ahead of me in the Wills Point Publilc Schools, but I remember him well and that he was good at basketball. His Mother, "Miss Riley", was without a doubt the very best Engllish teach I ever had and that includes SMU undergraduate school and the University of Houston graduate school. It's always difficult to say goodbye, but we all have our memories for a lifetime. RIP, Jack Riley!
Uncle Jack was a wonderful and generous man, admired and respected by all who knew him.
He was my first boss and taught me (and the other cousins who worked for him) how to treat customers - a good lesson for life.
Aunt Joy and the Riley family, I love you and will pray that God will comfort you.
